Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

ShipDoctor is made by Thamizh Eniyan (“we”). This page explains what we collect and why. Contact: support@shipdoctor.dev.

The command-line tool

ShipDoctor runs on your computer. It does not upload your code, project files, build files or logs, and it does not send analytics. Pro license keys are checked offline. The only file it writes outside your project is your license key, in ~/.shipdoctor/license.

Support requests

When you use the support form we store what you send: report type, title, description, pasted text, screenshots, attached text files, your email (optional), the ShipDoctor version, and the time. We use it only to answer you and improve ShipDoctor.

Purchases

Payments are handled by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy or Dodo Payments), which acts as the merchant of record and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details. We receive your email, the plan you bought and the subscription ID, and we keep them, along with your license keys, to deliver and re-send your keys and handle renewals and refunds.

Email

We send license keys and replies to support requests through an email delivery provider (Resend). We do not send marketing email.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by writing to support@shipdoctor.dev. We reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK or India, you also have the rights given by the GDPR / UK GDPR or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date above. Significant changes are announced on this website.
